Christine Lavin Recordings
Christine Lavin continues to find songs hidden everywhere -- in newspaper articles about fireflies, in overheard conversations between pinheads in an airport, watching teenagers compete in the national spelling bee, reading the works of H.L. Mencken. Her songs are sung by Broadway stars Sutton Foster and Betty Buckley, the a cappella darlings The Accidentals, and her lyrics showed up this year in the book THE PLUTO FILES: THE RISE AND FALL OF AMERICA'S FAVORITE PLANET, written by Neil DeGrasse Tyson, director of New York's Hayden Planetarium. Christine's first book, Cold Pizza For Breakfast: A Mem-wha?? will be coming in 2010, the foreword written by actor Jeff Daniels.
As The Washington Post says, "Lavin knows how to keep her audience guessing, thinking, and laughing all at the same time."
We are currently taking pre-release orders for her third album on Yellow Tail Records, Cold Pizza For Breakfast, her 20th solo album overall.
